Reports to: Facilities and Warehouse Manager

Job Summary: Assists the Facilities and Warehouse Manager with projects including;
  • Conduct field verification of existing conditions to assess system performance.
  • Assist in developing bid packages.
  • Prepare CAD layouts and drawings using AutoCAD .
  • Collaborate with contractors to implement and install projects.
  • Prepare engineering documentation for various projects.
  • Work on projects aimed at improving building and process safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • This is an excellent intern opportunity to learn and gain real world experience in the field of Electric Engineering.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program for Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in the use of computer applications
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must maintain a valid Michigan Driver's License
  • Must be 18 years old

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Work includes proximity to environmental hazard associated with electrical, mechanical, and/or power equipment.

• Work includes occasional exposure to fumes, odors, dust, dirt, and/or contact with chemicals or toxins.
