About the Role
As part of the expansion of our tooling team, Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical design skills, a good understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Profile
• Proven experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools
• Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Main Responsibilities
• Design and develop new mechanical products and components
• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with engineering standards
• Collaborate with production, quality, and NPI teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability
• Participate in the continuous improvement of existing tools, products, and processes
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices
