Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant Operating Company, delivers innovative energetic material solutions that enable mission success across aerospace and defense. As part of our commitment to developing future talent, we are seeking a Manufacturing Intern for Summer 2026, with the possibility of extending to part time thereafter. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment while supporting engineering and manufacturing initiatives. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams on real-world projects that drive operational excellence, product quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and completion of compliance matrix
• PFMEA
• Risk assessment
• Design of tooling
• Process development experiments
• Participate in group design reviews
• Work in configuration management system to manage program documentation
• Conduct data reporting and analysis (qualitative and quantitative) across programs

Qualifications (External/Internal):

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SolidWorks, and other business/engineering software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively in a fast-changing, complex environment
• Confidence in communicating accurately and effectively across all employee levels
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to support larger program goals
• Willingness to participate in hands-on engineering and development activities
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations to ensure compliance with government contracts and export control requirements.

Pay Range
The hourly range for this position (in local currency) is $25.10 - $46.59.

Is this role subject to ITAR?
