Job DescriptionWe are seeking a
Process / Mechanical Engineer (Owner's Representative) to support complex semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects. In this role, you will act on behalf of the client to review designs, specifications, and construction documents while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $41.35- $56.73 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities:- Review engineering designs, P&IDs, layouts, and construction documents
- Provide technical feedback on mechanical/process systems (water, gas, chemicals, piping)
- Support design and construction for complex manufacturing facilities
- Interface with client stakeholders, vendors, and project teams
- Review RFIs, submittals, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Contribute to system design including equipment sizing and selection
- Support field activities, site walks, and construction integration
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 2+ years of experience in facilities/process/mechanical engineering
- Experience with systems such as piping, gas distribution, wastewater, and utilities
- Knowledge of design project delivery processes
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Preferred:- Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Field or construction experience
- EIT or PE license
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Details:- Primarily remote role with initial onsite requirement (50% first month, then ~1 week/month)
- Must be able to perform field work (walking, climbing, lifting up to 25 lbs)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
