Our client is looking for a dynamic Roll Form Engineer to innovate and optimize roll forming process operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to enhance manufacturing efficiency and sustainability. - Evaluate and configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs and streamline processes.
- Determine and acquire the necessary tooling for roll forming.
- Analyze and resolve issues with current tooling and processes.
- Provide engineering support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
- Design, fabricate, repair, and troubleshoot high-precision machines and systems.
- Research new materials and processing methods, with a focus on metallurgy.
- Plan and implement improvements related to safety, quality, and cost.
Working Conditions - Engage directly with machinery in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Perform tasks such as bending, standing, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work in confined spaces and at varying heights.
- Adapt to flexible schedules and travel to various locations as needed.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in roll forming and related manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
- Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
