We have a requirement for a Jr. Mechanical Engineer/Technologist to join our Project Management team based out of Langley, BC. The Junior Mechanical Engineer/Technologist supports the successful execution of mechanical projects by assisting with project coordination, technical documentation, procurement, and field support activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to understand project scope.
- Support preparation and tracking of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction).
- Assist in procurement activities including preparing RFQs, reviewing quotes, and tracking material deliveries.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and reports.
- Track project costs and assist in maintaining cost control and forecasting.
- Participate in site visits to monitor progress, verify installations, and support field teams.
- Assist in quality control and ensure work complies with specifications and standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support commissioning and project closeout activities, including turnover documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be safety conscious and lead by example in following safety policies and procedures.
- Establish a safe work environment through continuous training and development and by maintaining all safety standards.
- Establish and maintain a communicative, coordinated, and co-operative relationship with all other functions within the organization.
- Enhance the image and reputation of the Company by exercising sound and ethical business practices in all relations with customers, employees, suppliers, and other third parties.

- Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or VP, Projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in construction, mechanical systems, or project coordination (co-op/internship experience considered).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, civil, and structural drawings and specifications.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with MS Project is an asset.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform basic technical calculations and cost tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver's License (some travel within BC may be required and our Langley office is not accessible via public transit).
This role may require visits to Tritech shops and construction sites, which may include:
- Outdoor assignments may include poor weather where there may be hot, cold, and wet conditions.
