[Responsibilities]
- Oversee end-to-end circuit card assembly processes, including component forming, pick-and-place, solder printing, wave/selective soldering, and conformal coating.
- Program, maintain, and troubleshoot assembly equipment for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform automated optical and x-ray inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Develop, update, and optimize work instructions, shop floor routers, and bills of materials.
- Analyze production data to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate production cell setups and facility layout modifications.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality or process issues.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Proven experience with circuit card assembly (PTH and SMT).
- Background in industrial/manufacturing engineering tasks, including internships or project team participation.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing environments focused on circuit card assembly.
[Preferred Skills]
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with lean, six-sigma, IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001 standards.
- Experience in cost, quality, and schedule management for manufacturing.
- Skilled in 2D/3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD, CREO for tooling and fixture design.
- Demonstrated problem-solving through data collection and performance improvement.
