Job description
Northwest Aerospace Technologies ("NAT"), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue-Chip customers.
We are currently looking for an Engineering Intern who will assist the engineering team in the design, development, and integration of aircraft interiors and systems. Responsibilities include supporting technical documentation, conducting research, gathering and analyzing data, participating in project meetings, and helping to resolve engineering challenges. This internship provides hands-on experience in aerospace engineering within a dynamic team environment, helping to deliver innovative cabin solutions for leading aircraft manufacturers and operators.
Summary of Duties:
• Support engineering, manufacturing, customer requests, quality and certification.
• Identify design problems and work with Engineers to seek solutions.
• Work with leads to analyze and solve both prototype and production problems.
• Requires little to no experience in discipline
• Conducts routine tasks as directed
• Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment

Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education: 2-3 years of completed college coursework in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering
Experience: Internship
Computer Skills:
• MS Office Suite, MS Windows, Autodesk products (Inventor, AutoCAD, Mechanical)
Other Skills:
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
• Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
Description: Entry-level position within field.
