Position DescriptionGeneral SummaryA Senior Civil Engineer provides advanced technical expertise, design leadership, and field support for civil and structural components of oil and gas projects. This position oversees the engineering and design of site development, grading, foundations, drainage, and structural systems for pipelines, processing facilities, and industrial infrastructure. The Senior Civil Engineer ensures that all work complies with project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards while supporting construction teams through all phases of design and execution.

- Ability to drive Company vehicles as needed
- Lead and perform detailed civil and structural engineering design for oil & gas facilities, compressor stations, and pipeline infrastructure.
- Develop design deliverables including site grading plans, foundations, concrete and steel structures, drainage systems, and access roads.
- Review and approve civil design drawings, calculations, specifications, and material submittals.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API, ASTM, and applicable local regulations).
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs.
- Conduct field evaluations, surveys, and constructability reviews to support project planning and execution.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including technical interpretation, RFI responses, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation for civil engineering scopes.
- Perform foundation and structural analysis using appropriate engineering software.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers; ensure adherence to company quality and safety procedures.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project progress updates.
- Support project management teams by providing technical input during proposal and planning phases
- Follow all KSI Engineering, Inc. safety, and customer policies and procedures.
- Additional tasks as required.

Position RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to read and write in English

- Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Proficiency in civil and structural design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, RISA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API, ASTM, etc.).
- Knowledge of soil-structure interaction, load calculations, and foundation design principles.
- Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, geotechnical reports, and construction specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical writing skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities with field and office personnel.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
- 7-10 years of civil/structural engineering experience within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial construction sectors.
- Experience with site development, grading, drainage, and foundation design for oil & gas facilities or pipeline projects.
