Description Our client in Southern Indiana is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to its team.
Job Responsibilities: - Provide support to engineers in the development, testing, and implementation of engineering projects.
- Assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct routine tests, measurements, and experiments; record and analyze data for engineering review.
- Support prototype assembly, equipment setup, and system troubleshooting.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiency and process enhancements.
- Assist with maintaining quality documentation such as inspection procedures, work instructions, and control plans.
- Maintain organized records of test results, maintenance logs, and project documentation.
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Support corrective and preventive action processes and follow-up on effectiveness.
- Participate in training programs and cross-functional quality initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
Job Requirements: - Associate's Degree in Engineering.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Proficient with electrical test equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
