Kelley Engineered Equipment, LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to expand the team at our Gretna headquarters office. Kelley Engineered Equipment is a leading custom equipment designer specializing in mechanical equipment for construction industries that require unique solutions. We are a fast paced and growing team of 25+ Engineers and Designers.
Job Functions:
- Provide conceptual designs to clients rapidly
- Take conceptual designs and analyze to turn into a final, detailed design
- Develop 2D detailed shop drawings in conjunction with drafters
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to a project
- Follow projects from start to finish, including fabrication and assembly in the shop
- Travel to customer job sites occasionally
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
- EIT Certification (preferred)
- 0-2 years experience in a field related to Mechanical Engineering
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solidworks experience (preferred) or other similar CAD experience
- Solidworks Simulation (preferred) or other similar FEA experience
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus
- Demonstrated logical problem solving skills, including conceptual and analytical skills
