Our client located in New Hampshire Area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance its production of cable assemblies and electromechanical assemblies. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with both customer and industry requirements. This position involves close collaboration with production teams and focuses on developing clear, accurate assembly instructions and process documentation to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cable assemblies and electromechanical products.
  • Create detailed and clear assembly instructions, work instructions, and visual aids for production personnel.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Support new product introductions by defining manufacturing methods and ensuring smooth integration into production.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Use CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) to support fixture design, layout updates, or assembly documentation.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving cable assemblies, wire harnessing, or electromechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) or other engineering tools is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with cable types, connectors, and electrical components is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of soldering, wire crimping, and electrical assembly techniques is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communicator with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach.
