Join our Air Dominance production team in Orlando, FL as a Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer. In this impactful role, you will drive the quality and reliability of missile system components, working at the heart of our production process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, make fast-paced decisions, and solve complex engineering challenges to advance mission-critical defense solutions.
[Responsibilities]
- Serve as a key member of the Material Review Board (MRB), reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts
- Identify root causes of production issues, defects, and failures, and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented
- Lead and coordinate investigative efforts across Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Communicate technical findings and status updates to interdisciplinary teams and leadership
- Support and participate in weekly meetings to review progress and resolve ongoing production challenges
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications to ensure compliance and quality
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
- Proficient in Creo CAD software with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Skilled at reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Effective communicator and collaborator within interdisciplinary teams

- Advanced experience in failure analysis for mechanical systems
- Familiarity with production environments in the defense or aerospace sector
