We are currently seeking a Engineering Specialist to join our team. This position has technical responsibility for beverage equipment and support systems for spring/drinking water products to support packaging, injection & blow mold operations.

  • Salary: $89,423 - $106,652/Annually. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
  • Location: Remote, US near anyone of our Primo Brands Factories, Remote FL preferred.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and location.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM, extended hours based on business/project needs.
  • Travel: Up to 50 - 75%

Responsibilities

  • The incumbent is to be developed as SME for water treatment systems including but not limited to reverse osmosis, softening, distillation, ozone disinfection, water filtration, mineral injection, flavor batching, UV disinfection, process heating and cooling systems, wastewater systems including solids filtration and pH neutralization applications.
  • This position also supports the execution of many energy and water reduction projects.
  • This position will focus to develop knowledge relation to technical specifications, system design, capital equipment purchase, and installation/start-up/commissioning support (on-site inspections as required) for the corporate capital process projects.
  • Responsible for the development of equipment specification, layouts, flow sheets (Process Flow Diagrams), P&ID's, material flow balance and operator interface (safety and workflow).
  • Must be cable of managing outside firms to meet obligations of executing all assigned and internal stakeholders.
  • Must be capable of leveraging technical expertise in support of factory operation for system optimization and troubleshooting using operational excellence standards.
  • The Specialist, Process Engineering reports directly to the Engineering Group Manager - Process and Utility and has a support responsibility to project managers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology (Mechanical Eng.; Food Tech. Eng.; Chemical Eng., Electrical Eng.) or equivalent or strong experience working with similar systems.
  • Preferred: Three years' experience implementing projects in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with sanitary design principles,GMP's and related regulations.
  • Has strength in visualizing complete projects at the conceptual stage. Will be highly motivated, well organized, goal oriented professional capable of operating alone, with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Must be a team player and have strong abilities to lead and participate in project teams.
  • Must be proficient in the use of common software packages including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Project, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD for the preparation of presentation and working documents.
