Keltia Design, Inc is a technical support services company supplying technical recruiting, training, and engineering design services to customers in the Aerospace industry on a permanent and contractual basis.
Our client located south of Seattle, WA, is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer contractor with 5-7+ yrs. experience:
- Statistical Analysis
- Problem Solving/Analysis
- Read and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Boeing and Airbus process and specifications
- Skilled in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Epicor experience or equivalent ERP system
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Catia V5, Inventor, Pro-e, Solid Works, or other 3-Dimensional CAD system.
- Familiar with Delmia Siemons or Inventor CFD or equivalent (Thermal Profile)
- Familiar with COMPRO Simulation Software (Spring Back Issues)
- Familiar with Fiber Sim Draping Software (Draping and Wrinkles)
- Understanding of AS9100D and NADCAP standards
Requires:Familiar with composite autoclave or oven curing cycles, thermal profiles, recipes, thermal effects, thermal expansion, wrinkles and tooling spring back effects.
Capable of designing or defining the requirements for the development of equipment, robotics, Lay-up molds, Vacuum Holding Fixtures, Shop Aids, Positioning fixtures, Go-
No-Go inspection tools required for the manufacturing of new products.
Capable of developing and implementing methods, which increase productivity of work center.
Capable of performing safety, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and Total Product Maintenance (TPM) for new and existing equipment.
Capable of performing Corrective and Preventive Actions, utilizing analytical reasoning, and the use of industry standard methods, such as 8D or other equivalent root cause analysis.
Coordinates with vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and incident/project status.
