T&M Associates is seeking a Senior Staff Field Engineer who thrives on fieldwork to join our Land Development team in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role supports land development and site civil improvement projects, with a primary focus on construction administration for public-sector work in southeastern Pennsylvania, including publicly bid K-12 school facilities. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of remote, in-office, and field work.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a liaison between field construction teams and office-based site civil/LA design staff.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, MEPF engineers, construction managers, and contractors during construction.
- Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders; attend recurring construction meetings and perform site visits.
- Monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design intent, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support site civil designs, including grading, stormwater management, utilities, roadways, drainage, and erosion control.
- Support project oversight, technical documentation, cost estimates, feasibility studies, and permitting.
- Assist with land use and zoning processes and mentor junior staff as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction administration.
- Experience with public-sector projects and familiarity with municipal, DEP, and DOT permitting.
- AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of bid and construction documentation and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $95,000 - $120,000The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
