Seattle, WA area who is a global leader in manufacturing and overhauling aerospace structures, systems, and components and is looking for a
Landing Gear Design Engineer responsible for providing support for their Company.
Position purpose/core responsibilities:Main Duties:- Landing gear structural design and spatial integration.
- Detail design of landing gear structural elements.
- Kinematic layout of landing gear mechanisms.
- Design of shock absorbers.
- Integration of steering, braking and actuation systems.
- Interfacing with customers and suppliers.
Requirements:- Landing gear design experience.
- 3-D modeling (Solid works and/or CATIA experience).
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, WORD, MS Power Point, MS Project).
- Ability to support customer in spatial integration.
- Assertive team player who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a team environment and works well with others.
- 10 years' experience minimum in related field.
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
