Position Title: Summer Intern - [DGC Engineering & Technology Group]

Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Engineering &
Technology group for the summer. The Engineering Intern will assist DGC's Engineering team in
executing DGC's decarbonization efforts as well as supporting projects at existing power plant
assets. The decarbonization efforts will include engineering support utilizing software modeling tools
and supervised conceptual design tasks. The successful candidate will also provide technical and
general support to power plant asset projects assigned to DGC Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate and support technical and engineering activities related to natural gas power
plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and photovoltaic (PV) power systems.
• With supervision, create/update engineering-related project documentation.
• Support fleet power plant technical project activities.
• Work with software modeling tools to assist in the siting and sizing of renewable energy power
plants.
• Present assigned tasks at company internal design reviews and meetings, as required.
• Present technical summary presentation to senior management and peers at the conclusion
of internship.
Qualifications:
• Third or fourth-year students enrolled at a technical college or university studying
mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering preferred. Related technical degree programs
to be considered.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft office - Excel, Word and PPT). CAD experience (AutoCad) preferred.
• Strong desire to learn more about the power industry
• U.S. Citizen required.

Rate: $25.00 Hourly
