Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Implements and maintains programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for automated manufacturing.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems and optimize existing ones for efficiency and safety.
  • Develops and reviews electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations in all manufacturing operations.
  • Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
  • Provides technical support and training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and safety circuits.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, UL).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with robotics or automated systems.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • PLC programming proficiency (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience with vision systems or industrial cameras.
