Key Responsibilities- Designs and develops new products and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements.
- Creates detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models.
- Conducts design reviews and implements feedback for product improvements.
- Performs design validation and verification testing to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoots design and manufacturing issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Optimizes designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Demonstrated experience with DFM/DFA principles and their application.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining).
- Strong understanding of material properties and selection for manufacturing applications.
