The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality, Production) to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
- Perform time studies and capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Recommended Qualifications- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture and tool design.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing operations.
- Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical process control (SPC) and Minitab.
- Project management experience, particularly in leading cross-functional teams.
