Job DescriptionStructural EngineerWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in the Indianapolis area with pay starting at 130K. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of new structures and ensuring their safety and durability.
Key Responsibilities: - Developing structural designs based on project requirements and building codes
- Performing calculations to determine the best materials and construction methods
- Preparing drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or ETABS
- Strong communication and project management skills
