Job DescriptionWe're seeking a
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design projects for semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and other advanced industrial facilities. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership, guide designers, review designs, and work directly with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality construction documents.
Pay: $57.69- $86.54 per hour DOEWhat You'll Do:- Lead electrical engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems
- Supervise designers, provide technical guidance, and perform quality reviews of design packages
- Prepare technical specifications and bid/construction documents
- Collaborate with owners and contractors and support construction activities on site
- Participate in proposals and deliver innovative solutions to client challenges
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's of Science in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in Idaho
- 12+ years of experience in building electrical systems design
- Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow calculations
- Experience with electrical equipment specification, vendor submittal reviews, and field coordination
- Ability to perform site punch walks and work effectively in construction environments
Nice to Have:- Semiconductor or mission-critical/data center experience
- Experience with Revit or BIM software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
