Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking Design Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs and develops new products and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements.
• Creates detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Conducts design reviews and implements feedback for continuous improvement.
• Performs engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.
• Supports the manufacturing team during product realization and troubleshooting.
• Investigates and resolves design-related production issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining).
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
