Job Description:
Position 1: Mechanical Engineer - Turbomachinery
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Design of mechanical components/systems experience
• Turbomachinery experience (fans, pumps, compressors). Aero
• Detailed drawing development (GD&T)
• 3-D modeling (SolidWorks)
• SolidWorks PDM Vault experience
• Test documentation (plans, procedures, reports)
• Ability to perform tests and troubleshoot
• Hands on test and hardware experience
• Collaborate effectively with quality, external suppliers, other engineering disciplines (electrical, software)
• Technical documentation generation (variances, supplier dispositions)
• Knowledge of basic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters,...)
• MRB experience (review and disposition discrepant parts)
Position 2: Mechanical Engineer - Thermal systems"
