Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative Direct Liquid Cooling solutions. This role involves working on new product introductions, focusing on custom passive cold plate loops and rack & chassis manifolds. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are seamlessly integrated into overall cooling system designs.
Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Use thermal and mechanical engineering principles to design and develop custom passive cold plate loops and manifolds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers for effective project execution.
• Oversee fabrication and testing, conduct experiments, and iterate designs for optimal performance.
• Review designs and drawings from junior team members, providing feedback and approvals.
• Develop engineering documentation, reports, and technical presentations.
• Utilize CAD, simulation tools, and engineering principles for design and product introduction.
Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in thermal/mechanical engineering with a P.Eng designation.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation software (e.g., Solidworks, Celsius EC).
• Understanding of fluid dynamic principles related to heat transfer and fluid flow.
• Ability to design components for mass production using various manufacturing methods.
Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master's degree in a relevant thermal or fluid dynamics field.
• Experience in a mass production environment.
