[Responsibilities]
- Lead development, qualification, and sustainment of manufacturing processes for multiple programs
- Define and implement lean, automation, DFMA, and digital manufacturing strategies to elevate quality and efficiency
- Spearhead production readiness planning, risk mitigation, and ramp-up activities
- Drive tooling, automation, and capital investment decisions aligned with business needs
- Standardize processes and champion best practices across all production lines
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
- Integrate manufacturing insights into design and program-level decision-making
- Mentor engineering teams, review technical deliverables, and foster a culture of excellence
- Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to optimize capacity and processes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to meet demanding schedule and cost targets
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 12+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience
- Demonstrated leadership in process optimization and problem-solving
- Expertise in root cause analysis, MRB, and IPTs
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
[Preferred Skills]
- Advanced degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related discipline
- 15+ years in aerospace/defense or high-reliability manufacturing environments
- Mastery of lean manufacturing, automation, and process qualification
- Proficiency with CATIA, CREO, MES, DELMIA, FlexSim, MESci, and model-based engineering
- Experience with supplier integration, production transfers, and project management certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP)
- Background in aerospace or military manufacturing
