Ultium Cells, LLC. manufactures battery cells used in electric cars and other electric vehicles in a joint venture between LG Energy Solution, Ltd., and General Motors. This high-technology plant is a new construction that utilizes the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. This $2.3 billion investment will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world.

Ultium Cells produces battery cells for General Motors' North American electric vehicle applications. Position Description:

We are responsible for the management and operation of logistics equipment in battery production plants, including systems such as ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), conveyors, and lifters. Our mission is to ensure the seamless storage and transport of materials, thereby supporting stable and efficient production processes. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our team and contribute to the continued growth and innovation of our logistics operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and manage logistics automation equipment, including conveyors, lifters, ASRS, AGVs, and related systems
  • Manage the regular maintenance and promptly troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Analyze logistics workflows and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
  • Prepare technical reports, operational documentation, and maintenance records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration of logistics systems into production operations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields) preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with FA equipment or related equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with design and control software such as AutoCAD, Mitsubishi PLC, or equivalent
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred
  • Understanding of manufacturing/logistics processes in battery or electronics industries is a plus
