MECHANICAL ENGINEER - WA - Short term contract roleThe ideal candidate will be a self motivated creative thinker who thrives in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Design, build and integrate complex electromechanical parts and systems
- Utilize SolidWorks 3D CAD to produce working equipment models
- Coordinate with production team to design and improve production processes
- Work directly with fabrication team to produce creative, high quality machines
Education and Experience:- Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical engineering with fabrication experience
- Must be proficient in SolidWorks modeling and design. Emphasis on design for fabrication and weldments preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flawless attention to detail
- Must excel working both with a team and independently; must be a self-starter
- Comfort with ambiguity and a flexible, can-do attitude
- Manufacturing and machine tool environment experience a must
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies needed
- Knowledge of CNC machining, including programming is a plus
