  • Manufacturing Engineer- Manufacturing Equipment: has full responsibility for the implementation of manufacturing equipment projects and assignments. Manufacturing engineer and can readily apply advanced techniques in the analysis and implementation of projects and assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the implementation of the manufacturing equipment strategy, ensuring advanced manufacturing solutions are readily employed.
  • Responsible for interpretation, coordination and execution of projects and assignments, including equipment design, installation, commissioning and start-up, preparation of specifications, etc.
  • Advisor to cross-functional teams to address manufacturing equipment initiatives.
  • Responsible for providing technical support in assembling and presenting manufacturing equipment concepts and solutions.
  • Deputizes for local Manager, Manufacturing Equipment as required.
  • Coordinates with internal and external groups to support implementation of manufacturing equipment projects and assignments.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the applicable engineering aspects of the quality and safety requirements are implemented in accordance with Company and statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for producing and approving reports and other documents in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Fully capable in use of electronic drawing and design tools such as CADD and SolidWorks.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree in a Manufacturing or Engineering discipline, plus 5 years' experience; or commensurate combination of education and experience and/or training.
  • High technical ability required.
  • Ability to operate within a multi-tasking dynamic team environment.
  • Aptitude to learning new design tools to broaden experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
