[Responsibilities]
- Translate engineering blueprints and parts lists into comprehensive, clear work instructions for production teams.
- Implement automation and cutting-edge technologies to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) initiatives and execute Lean Six Sigma projects for continuous process improvement.
- Develop and document process enhancements that reduce costs, improve product quality, and shorten delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges on the manufacturing floor.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience writing technical work instructions.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with composites fabrication or optical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in a manufacturing floor setting.
[Preferred Skills]
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with SAP.
- Background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in CREO/ProE, especially with tool design.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
