Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Donohue & Associates, a preferred provider of water and wastewater engineering services, is looking for an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team.

As an integral member of our multiple discipline project teams, you will be involved with all phases of electrical engineering for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. This includes low and medium power distribution (through 34.5 kV), motor control, grounding and lightning protection, exterior and interior lighting, standby power generation systems, MCC design, specification writing, and construction cost estimating. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities in the U.S.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with clients and is a pragmatic problem solver capable of working through unique technical challenges and employing proven solutions to meet our clients needs.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Relevant coursework and internships
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Positive team- and client-focused attitude directed towards delivering quality work on time and within budget
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to be an active participant in professional associations

Requirements:
  • B.S., Electrical Engineering
  • EIT certification a plus
