Position Summary This position is for an electrical engineer to assist in the design, development, and documentation of electrical systems modifications for C5ISR Systems to include, Aircraft systems, Tactical and Enterprise Radios, RF communications, networks and computers. Applicant will work with Sr. electrical engineers and engineering manager to understand requirements and translate those requirements into system level installation drawings and wiring harness fabrication drawings. POSITION SUMMARY Supervises and manages the Manufacturing Engineering department. Responsible for providing technical leadership and support to the assembly team in the assembly, testing, painting, and delivery of Embraer Executive Jets. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the planning and establishing of engineering schedules and following up performance against estimates. Create assembly process planning, provide support to production activities and coordinate implementation of product changes, improvement projects and preventive / corrective actions. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES Functional analysis of non-conformities based on design criteria and certification reports of aircraft avionic and electrical systems. Evaluate technical dispositions impact on production schedules, safety, quality aspects, documentation and cost/benefits involved. Direct interface with other internal and external engineering areas involved on non-conformity analysis. Substantiate the approval of non-conformities considered "major" and present it for the local authorities as required. Validate supplier's dispositions for non-conformities in case such supplier is not delegated as MRB. Start a design revision process (EO) for non-conformities in case the issue is found to be a design error. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting on production line and production flights....
