Job Description Job Summary Seeking a confident and capable Intern willing to join the Horsham Mechanical Engineering Team to assist with daily activities related to Optical Transceiver design, thermal analysis\test and production manufacturing support. Looking for a motivated individual that is very open to the role possibly transitioning into a full-time long-term position. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform 3D modeling of parts, assemblies and drawings using Solidworks (preferred) Understand heat-transfer fundamentals and possess the ability to perform FEA thermal analysis (experience with Flotherm a plus) Interface with Electrical Engineers for collaboration on printed circuit board design layout Perform stress simulations and/or motion studies within Solidworks (preferred) Research and pursue samples for testing of new technologies such as vapor chamber, heat-pipes and advanced thermal transfer materials Review and complete standard engineering...
