The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for the design, development and improvement in the manufacturing of Bowmar products for commercial and military aerospace applications. This role uses Lean Manufacturing and Lean Product Development processes and tools to drive both new product innovation and sustaining engineering initiatives with minimal supervision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Design and development of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical products, specifying components and materials required to meet customer specifications for operation, reliability and performance. Manage program technical requirements by analyzing customer specifications to develop product technical proposals and bills of material for quote submittals.
