If required incumbent may use standard measurement tools such as a micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data. Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data. Create manufacturing drawings of aftermarket parts from dimensional reports, material analysis, and available technical data. Manage multiple reverse engineering projects simultaneously. General Summary: The Engineering and Design Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of technical functions to assist project development to include, but not limited to CAD design, GD&T, drawing development, reverse engineering, and other duties as assigned. The position will also require the individual to be able to draw and read detailed drawings for component and system level designs.
