Description Description: Performs a variety of aircraft cabin/interiors engineering work including drawing interpretation, design and substantiation as related to transport category aircraft cabin interior modifications. What you will be responsible for: • Research new technology (material and manufacturing processes) for use in seating and interior products for the development of new lightweight and cost-efficient products. • Design and analyze aircraft cabin interior systems and components, typically in support of aircraft interior modifications (STC projects) including integration of seats, monuments, PSUs, flooring, emergency equipment, sidewall/dado/ceiling panels, windows, stowage bins and placards. • Work independently to gather data and input on the development of original designs or adaptations of existing designs after having been given general instructions regarding scope and parameters. • Coordinate and monitor cabin interiors aspects of project...
