Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract-to-hire role initially 1 year in New Braunfels, TX with benefits offered. In the role of Mechanical Engineer, you will: • Work independently to assist in the design and development of equipment and piping components required to meet customer's needs or market demands • Perform mechanical design calculations for Compressors, Pumps, Heat Exchanger, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Separators, Dehydration Units, Skids, etc. • Develops engineering documentations such as datasheets, drawings, schematic drawings, material specification or other required data • Review and analyze modular piping designs to ensure designs adhere codes and standards • Interface with multiple vendors, third-party contractors and inspectors to meet schedule and deliverables. • Investigate equipment or design failures, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions. • Provide...
