Position Overview The KSL Broadcast Engineer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, tools, and equipment that bring KSL TV to our viewing audience. This position includes working with editors and producers, server administration, computer networking, fibre optics, LTO tape archives, signal flow, microwave technology, satellite uplink and downlink, mountain site broadcasting and equipment maintenance and installation, 3D printing, Audio over IP, Video over IP, live and pre-recorded special events, audio workflows, video workflows, cloud computing, streaming services, video encoding, collaboration with NBC and syndicated content providers, and various other tasks related to media production and broadcast.
