POSITION SUMMARY: The CAD Engineer supports the engineering and design team by creating detailed 3D CAD models of parts and assemblies from sketches, drawings, and verbal descriptions. This role provides CAD modeling and documentation support to the Tooling Shop, Rigging and Testing Shop, along with Base Camp or Plant Engineering functions in the development of marine products. The CAD Engineer applies established engineering principles, approved design intent, instructions, and predefined guidelines to perform assigned modeling and documentation tasks in accordance with company CAD standards within the CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE product data management environment.
