Job Description: We are seeking a Safety Engineer, EHS - Engineering and Design to serve as the expert for equipment safety design and associated engineering standards across the Chewy Fulfillment Network (including Rx)! This role partners with Launch, Design, Construction, Engineering, Technology, Maintenance & Reliability, and EHS teams to establish, interpret, and integrate equipment safety requirements into new buildings, capital projects, process changes, pilots, and equipment deployments. Beginning with initial builds and continuing through commissioning, the Safety Engineer conducts equipment build reviews and technical risk assessments.
