The Plant Electrical and Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant control systems and for diagnosing electrical issues impacting plant operations. Key Responsibilities Controls Engineering Maintain, diagnose, and resolve issues related to plant PLC, DCS, and HMI based automation systems. Support the integration of instrumentation systems including sensors, transmitters, flow meters, and analyzers. Maintain and update electrical and controls documentation including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives. Identify and implement automation and controls improvements to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and safety.
