Scope of role The Regal Rexnord IPS Engineering Internship Program is a fulltime, 10-week paid internship at our Headquarters in Milwaukee starting June 2026. The program is designed for students to gain real world experience by developing strong functional/technical expertise and business knowledge through challenging, hands-on assignments and to expose them to various groups across the Regal Rexnord Business. Over the course of 10 weeks, associates will complete work assignments and work projects to support Regal Rexnord's Industrial Powertrain opportunities and projects under the mentorship of full time Regal Rexnord Powertrain Team Engineers. Major Responsibilities: Analyzes new technologies, market assessments components and less complex products using existing basic analytical tools and methods to improve existing designs and expand existing product lines. Assist in Material Cost Out and Simplification programs. Assist in the design of test machines and procedures of nonstandard testing. Assists in solving routine problems with an aptitude for basic problem-solving skills. Design and develop new products to meet customer needs. Leads portions of routine analysis projects. Specifies basic design parameters, validates according to existing standards, and prepares required documentation. Supports Application Engineering, New Product Development (NPD) and Product Engineering projects. Supports product analysis during and after NPD testing or benchmark testing. Supports statistical and physical analyses on tested IPS products as required. Complete other projects as identified in Co-op Project Plan....
