Major Responsibilities: Analyzes new technologies, market assessments components and less complex products using existing basic analytical tools and methods to improve existing designs and expand existing product lines. Assist in Material Cost Out and Simplification programs. Assist in the design of test machines and procedures of nonstandard testing. Assists in solving routine problems with an aptitude for basic problem-solving skills. Design and develop new products to meet customer needs. Leads portions of routine analysis projects. Specifies basic design parameters, validates according to existing standards, and prepares required documentation. Supports Application Engineering, New Product Development (NPD) and Product Engineering projects. Supports product analysis during and after NPD testing or benchmark testing. Supports statistical and physical analyses on tested IPS products as required. Complete other projects as identified in Co-op Project Plan....
