Description S.R. Smith is looking for a Sustaining Engineer to join our team at the Bulkheads office in Arlington, WA. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE The Sustaining Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes and supports the engineering function by analyzing designs for manufacturing and assembly. Performs cost estimating, prepares bill of materials and plans and justifies capital equipment. Will also test and evaluate existing products for design and manufacturing improvements. Additionally, you will: Develop conceptual and detailed product designs to meet product specifications. Investigate design factors such as function, materials, performance, and cost. Prepare project plans to ensure projects meet cost and schedule goals. Review product designs using analytical and investigative methods to ensure product requirements and specifications are met.
