Job Description: Permian Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Systems Engineer to own the design, optimization, and execution of all power infrastructure across our upstream operations. This role is a technical cornerstone of our Facilities team and plays a critical part in our long-term electrification and emissions reduction strategy. The ideal candidate blends engineering rigor with commercial awareness-comfortable in the weeds of system design but able to see the full picture. Key Responsibilities: System Design & Optimization Design and engineer electrical systems for operations, including distribution lines, substations, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and backup generation. Evaluate and recommend optimal solutions for grid vs. generator power on new developments. Job Summary: Direct and manage the engineering activities (mainly through consulting A/E firms) for major utility-scale generation projects (including conventional, Energy Storage and renewable generation), major environmental control projects, and plant improvement projects. Provide expertise to support development and conceptual design of NRG generation projects including development of project scoping specifications, site due diligence support and layouts, EPC contracting technical interface, as well as managing fuel, water, wastewater and electrical interconnection scoping/contracting support.
