Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer Department: Engineering Reports to: Civil / Structural Department Lead GENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB (Summary) The Senior Structural Engineer provides safe, "Best for Project" solutions for complex projects, while ensuring regulatory compliance for all engineering deliverables. The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for directing and collaborating with the Structural Engineers, designers, other disciplines, and team members in developing safe and effective designs. This includes participation in model and drawing reviews and completing calculations for complex permanent mine facility infrastructure, temporary sinking gear, material handling, process systems, and above ground facilities. It is expected that they will have knowledge of pertinent codes and standards and their application to the work performed.
