Purpose of the position The Server Hardware Engineer is responsible for working with the customer to develop Server/Storage Electrical specifications and design, in cooperation with the Program manager, Mechanical Engineer, Thermal Engineer, Signal Integrity Test Group, BIOS, BMC and PCB Layout teams. Other validation teams may also be involved to develop and fully test server products from early development to production phases. Must be a good team-player, capable of working across multiple function teams to ensure successful delivery of products.
