JOB FUNCTION : Improve and support CTO process and production facility/equipment for Sun server products. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Create/maintain production line layout. Order/maintain production line equipment. Co-ordinate process improvement projects. Work with PMs on quarterly capacity analyses (via time studies, takt time analysis, throughput, etc.). Support customer requests and assist with tours/audits of the production line. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Min. 5 years experience in manufacturing environment - CTO and/or system integration experience is a plus. SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS : Knowledgeable on how to use layout creation software - i.e. AutoCAD, MS Visio, etc. Basic understanding of CTO process and has knowledge/experience in manufacturing and system integration process.
