The Sr. Electrical Engineer, under general supervision, performs broad and complex engineering assignments requiring originality, ingenuity, and the development of new methods. Provides technical support related to planning, designing, analyzing, constructing, and maintaining structures, systems, and components. Provides engineering advice as needed and displays technical competence requiring general direction from higher level engineering staff. This position is responsible for the overall concept, architecture, design, and development of nuclear radiation detection instruments and accessories. Under supervision, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will perform product development, interpretation of marketing requirements and implementation of customer specifications. You will participate in project teams consisting of other electronic and mechanical members of the engineering team.
